For those of you that made comments on the right to bear arms page you may want to transfer your comments to this page. We will probably be taking the right to bear arms page down because of consistant snafus…

Do you think that the right to bear arms has gone too far or not far enough?

I never know why gun stores never get shut down, After you hear or witness a gun violence. It’s weird knowing gun stores are selling guns to people with problems. Because they want money, and aren’t worried of what’s going to happen next.

I think the right to have an armed militia should be taken literally. Militia, police forces and our army have the right to bear arms.
Dani’s story further backs up my point.

though Graehme’s point WAY up at the top of the page should be thought of. I smell conspirisy. The police force should perhaps have the right to some smaller gun, but not an automatic weapon. Who knows what could happen, policemen and policewomen are people too.

Wait, the conspirisy thing was on the bare arms page, sorry

    Yeah Barb- very nicely put

The only thing I can add to that is that the Military, Army, etc. should be able to have guns overseas but not in their homes.

Nobody should have guns in their homes.

Why not, what if we want to protect ourselves from gangs or burglers?
Gah! You all need to listen!

I have one question for all of u, do u know those cop and gorey TV shows on the tv 24/7, I mean, basicly all the shows that r out there, right now r for entertainment, right?? But there are weirdos, and crackheads out there, who have the sadistic mind to actually do that kind of horrible stuff. So all the TV stations are basicly giving out Ideas to criminals on the loose!!!, so who is the real purpatraitor??? And that is probally why we in america have so much Gun Violence.

First of all cops don’t carry automactic weapons. The S.W.A.T do.

I agree with tyler. The media glorifies guns way too much. There is a person out there right now, thinking of doing something that they saw on television. If T.V. shows stopped showing guns so much there would be less gun violence.

Jordan, I agree. There’s always that one kid out there who wants to shoot people’s brains out, because they saw it on tv. I’m not saying we should totally censor stuff, but if they didn’t have that on little kid shows, that’d be good.

I think that everyone is responsible for gun violence. People who support the war, people who fight in wars, children playing gun video games, the parent buying the video games and so on. We are not doing enough to stop gun violence, we are promoting it. By having our children playing video games that have guns in it, is showing them that its ok to play with guns. I think that we are way too in with gun violence to fully correct the problem. Kids are being taught in video games, movies, T.V. shows that guns are all fine and dandy, and that is hurting them. Parents need to actually look at game ratings and movie ratings before letting their children watch or play. A lot of people think that movie violence and any other artificial violence doesn’t effect anybody, and it does.

I don’t think gun vilonce games are bad because they are just games some of them don’t even look real like the characters in it. Some people think it’s cool to see somebody’s head get blown off by a shotgun or something and when it really happens they feel differet about it.

I don’t think the movies or some games promote gun violence. I don’t think it does becuase you should be able to osrt out right form wrong. Now I think kids between the ages of 1-10 should be shielded from the violent movies lke Termanator, Chainsaw massacure, and video games like Grand theft auto, Siants row and oher games with “t” or “m” ratings.

Yeah, right on dani! We can play the blame game, but we should be able to work on fixing the problem of gun violence, instead of doing nothing.

Gun violence is horrible and shouldn’t ever happen anywhere in the world. Unfortunately that will probably never happen. Stores shouldn’t be selling guns, espetialy hand guns to people without a gun permit. All it takes is one shot and your dead or scared for life.

Gun violence is only permitable to th people with the guns.
