I THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO DIE, IF THEY ARE COMPETENT, AND IS IN SEVERE PAIN, AND HAVE A TERMINAL ILLNESS. IT SHOULD BE THEIR DECSION! BECAUSE WHO WANTS TO LIVE IN CONSTANT PAIN, DAY AFTER DAY. I ALSO THINK THEIR FAMILY SHOULD RESPECT THEIR FEELINGS1

my view is that if someone is suffering from a long term illness then it is morally right. we say we live in a mordern, civerlised society but we cannot even decied if we live or die.. how is it civerlised to let someone suffer??

My point of view about the assisted suicide is that should be legalized, because every individual has dominion over their body and should be allowed to decide when to end their
life. To achieve that end, with dignity and without pain, doctors should be allowed to help terminal patients by providing necessary doses of drugs or by lethal injection, or any other methods that would help the person to end his/hers suffering.in my opinion, people who are in pain and they can not get better, should have the choice to end their own lives with dignity, instead of living days that are painful without hope of mprovement. Our lives and our bodies belong to us. It does not belong to the state, to religions,or our relatives, or to our friends. The laws against assisted suicide are directly to these ideas.
These laws born from our culture and from people who are afraid to face the reality of death, and the religious believe that “only God can take a life.” Maybe they say this because they have not been in this suffering position. Nobody can decide when our life is over; we have the right to determine when we do not want to live. Life is a precious possession. As with all of our possessions, how we use, manage, and say good-bye to life is our own business, not the laws.

ok well aaron and me were talking about this a while ago and he made a really good point

ok say like bob tried to kill hiomself by shooting his head and the doctors saved him ok?

well one, what would be the point in saving someone who just tried to kill them selves and 2 their head would be all fruifghbrencwodnefbuir785578490edn and they would be upset and people would stare at them so thier life would be worse…

so wth?

It can be a way out, or they could wait or go and get help. Like Dani said, she was thinking it was the only way out but now she doesn’t believe that anymore… I don’t think.
